HIKING IN ROYAL NATIONAL PARK

The Coast Track in Royal National Park, Sydney, Australia has been high on my bucket list. Known for its jagged cliffs and incredible views, the Coast Track spans 27km and best completed over two days. We chose to hike from Bundeena from Otford with an overnight camp at the North Era Campground. The hike was absolutely stunning, along every part of the track. It was a fairly moderate hike, even with backpacks on. It was undulating, with descents taking us to beautiful and rugged beaches and then ascents took us back onto the cliffs, where we had spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. It was not overcrowded, as we were hiking in June and we were blessed with warm weather and clear sky for the entire hike. If you are like us, and do not like crowds, then definitely plan in this trip between the May- August months (be sure to check the weather). I have chosen 10 of my favourite images to highlight how gorgeous the scenery is.
